A hand-coloured aquatint etching on wove paper, from the [1817] 7th Edition of this book, which was first published in 1812. This is Plate 6. Size is about 5.5 x 9.5 inches. Browning to lower margin, the final numeral of the date rubbed away; a clean very good copy, attractively coloured. This title was the first of the three Tours to be published, and contained 29 plates by Rowlandson in addition to the frontispiece and illustrated title.
