Soft cover. Zustand: Near Fine. Second Printing, December, 1968. Clean and tightly bound with stiff, color pictorial covers and metal spiral binding. Minor creasing to the corners and slight age-toning to the edges, remains near fine. The contents and illustrated plates are fine.

72pp, (8.75 x 12 inches), sixty-four full page b&w and color drawings, on alternating pages. The only text is a one page introduction, six pages of information about the artists, and a page about the production of the book. Very Good condition in spiral bound stiff covers (soft cover). The covers are tanned and two corners are creased. Pages are tanned at the edges, but clean, no tears or creases, no markings. The book was originally printed in 1967 and again in 1968 with revisions. This is the 2nd revised printing. Engineers interested in art were encouraged to submit their work. Sketches were compiled from visiting hundreds of work sites in Vietnam, and from over 100 drawings and paintings, these were chosen for the project.

Paperback. Zustand: Good. Spiralbound. Shelfwear with creasing/cornering and a little bit of chipping. Light soil. The interior of both covers show a large water stain to one of the corners. This stain is much lighter on the pages and on several pages is hardly noticeable. There is a little light paging soil and mild yellowing, and some cornering. The binding is sound. A pictorial record of the work accomplished by the Engineer Troops Vietnam during the Vietnam War - building fortifications, building and maintaining roads, construction, clearing vast areas of jungle, etc. Ten engineer artists traveled throughout Vietnam to produce sketches of these combat support operations, more than 110 pieces of artwork were completed - a panel of six judges chose the illustrations that appear in this brochure. Spiral-bound with stiff pictorial wrappers. Full-page color and black & white illustrations, brief captions. Slight edgewear, the words "library file" are stamped on the cover (very faintly) and several of the pages.
