Legatura del tempo in mezza pelle con punte con un'iscrizione di biblioteca inglese al piatto anteriore: "Modern language reading room". Dorso a nervi con titoli in oro e taglio di testa dorato. Dorso restaurato, peraltro esemplare genuino, con solo qualche fioritura. Ediz.…orig. e di Crusca di questo poema trecentesco anonimo, diviso in 6 cantari, ritenuto anticamente il primo dettato in ottava rima, anteriore alla Teseide del Boccaccio, tratto da un cod. Magliab. (oggi Banco Rari 45), che sviluppa un episodio del Roman de Palamedes. Precedono il testo alcuni scritti: una dichiarazione di Gio. Mazzuoli detto lo Stradino; una dissertazione sul codice, di V. Follini; uno studio sul poema, di Franc. Palermo; un frammento, a cura di P. Zanotto, di una versione ital. dell'antico romanzo provenzale su cui furono verosimilmente basati Girone il Cortese dell'Alamanni e questo Febusso, che presentano in vari luoghi delle affinità. Cfr. Ediz. orig. e di Crusca di questo poema trecentesco anonimo, diviso in 6…cantari, ritenuto anticamente il primo dettato in ottava rima, anteriore alla Teseide del Boccaccio, tratto da un cod.
