The book is housed in an oatmeal cloth slipcase with lid. With leather label stating author and title. Provenance: signed and inscribed at Caldor, Broad and Summer Streets in Stamford, Connecticut. A newspaper clip announcing the event is loosely laid in. Condition: a near fine copy in like dust jacket as shown. Light shelf wear only. Clean page block edges. Cloth quarter binding is clean and vibrant. No previous owener's scribbles inside. The dust jacket with light creases and has glue remnants of sticker removal on the front flap. A nice copy. One of 100.000 first edition copies. Twice adapted into film. Signed by Author(s).
