Full-Leather. Zustand: Very Good. 2 volumes, 362 [10]: 369 [14]pp, contemporary calf, slightly worn with corners bumped, gilt decorated spine (rubbed) with red & black labels, binding uniform with book number 5578, ownership signature (C B Hutchinson) on front pastedowns, lacks free endpapers, paper lightly browned, pages 11-14 vol 1 almost loose, 12mo (10x17cm).

Hardcover. Zustand: Fair. undated assumed early to mid 18th century. Both volumes bound in full leather, both front boards detached but rear boards still holding. Hinges still robust and all pages tight in bindings.

1750. 8vo. 2 volumes. v1: 512 pp. / v2: 518+Index. Full leather bindings, spine labels, raised bands, upper hinge of vol.1 reinforced with archival linen tape, else very good set. (95553). Bookplates of Edward Kenelm Digby, 11th Baron Digby, was a British peer, soldier and politician.

Engraved title page, plates, 7.5 x 4.5, green, gilt ruled straight grained morocco; aeg, 436 pp + index, 437 pp + index, covers burred with outer hinges starting, spines sunned to brown, extremities worn (esp spine ends), hinges loose, contents toned but still a good, useful, readable set. Founded by Richard Steele, with contributions by Thomas Addison, among others.
