On the paste down is a stamp for Hobson Bros. Clocks and Barometers, 202 Portland Road, Hove, Sussex. Includes an invoice from Eton College from Lord Hugh Cecil ( Was Provost of Eton College and MP for Oxford) This scarce original edition of this important directory, listing alphabetically, with locations and biographical details, all the known Scottish clockmakers of the period.
