A very clean, bright and crisp hardback copy of volume 2 in the publisher's original glazed pictorial boards, but with a couple of minor flaws owing to slightly careless handling: There is a crease at the tail of the spine, and a small graze to the bottom left-hand corner of the lower cover (see images). Overall, though, this is a fresh and attractive copy with no previous ownership names or inscriptions, which feels unread. 431 numbered pages. [This volume was issued without a dust jacket. On the Publication page the Copyright date 2000 appears, in addition to 2016].
