Paperback. Zustand: Fine. n.d., Ca 1920, 16 pp. , Photos, Grn Color Illus Pamphlet, 8 x 9 inches folded to 4 x 9, Fine & Crisp Tourist Brochure.
Zustand: Fine. This cheaply produced brochure is a sign of the times in which it was issued, but reflects a trend towards outdoors tourism that began the decade prior. Black and white photographs and descriptive text outline many of Colorado's most wonderful attractions, the majority of which are inexpensive to visit and easy to access. Each page highlights a different region; Denver, The Pikes Peak Region, Rocky Mountain National Park, the Grand Mesa, Pueblo, the Moffat Tunnel, and the Royal Gorge. The centerfold is an abstract pictorial map of the state with illustrations of many natural landmarks, historic sites, and recreational activities. Transportation routes, usually the emphasis on such images, are confined to the outer edges. A bit of toning and wear on the paper covers, but overall tight and in good condition. Includes a lovely centerfold pictorial map with an image approximately 12" x 8.75".
