Lithograph titled "The High Tor, Matlock". Tor is another word for peak or mountain peak and "High Tor" I believe is the peak in the background. England. Matlock is a town in the middle of England between Nottingham and Sheffield. It borders the "Peak District National Park". An English nineteenth century engraving. Notice the old locomotive. Bemrose and Son at lower left is the printer or publisher - artist unknown. "Lithographed by Newman & Co 48, Watling St. London" at lower right. The old locomotive gives this some special interest. 15" x 11 1/2". Some light foxing. Shipped without glass unless you specify you will take the risk in case of breakage.
