Professor Norman Feather produced one of the great histories of physics in the three volume set issued originally by the University of Edinburgh from 1959-1968. His lectures had been given in Cambridge from 1936-1945 and then he developed them in his lectures on natural philosophy at Edinburgh for the next thirty years. In 1968 Aldine Press printed the entire set in three matching volumes each printing the original text and diagrams. Each volume bound in lime green, pink and blue respectively, spines lettered in gilt blocked in black, only light bumping to a couple of corners, no names or bookplates. A very nice clean set.
