In the Appendix is a list of the principal vignettes or marks, monograms, and devices used by the ancient printers; and Hansard borrowed these illustrations for his 'Typographia." An ex-university library set with callnumber labels on the spines and barcode labels on the rear boards, taped under clear plastic, stamps on the lower edges of the textblock and the title-pages, and a docket and label on the rear pastedown endpapers.
