Previous owner's inked name on front end paper of second volume. The green dust jackets are unclipped, with light shelf wear. The first volume 'The First Phase' (240pp) was published in 1948,and the second volume 'The Last Phase'(221pp) was published in 1950. The volumes contain portions of a shorter book that was published in 1932. Illustrated with black and white photographic plates. A very scarce two volume set.
