Binding of morocco-grained publisher's cloth, Blind stamped boards with elaborate gilt floral design with bevelled boards in good condition with a little sunning and wear to spine. Inside hinges are cracked and text block coming away at front from spine though binding is holding nicely. All pages/plates in very good, clean and bright condition. Scarce copy.

Contemporary bevelled-edged full morocco, raised-ribbed spine, blind-stamped boards, all edges gilt and marbled endpapers (rubbed at head and tail of spine - otherwise VG). Unpaginated, illus with chromolithographed prelim (blank with diamond shaped border) and title page, and 28 double-sided chromolithographed illuminated texts interleaved with blank pages (previous owner's 1893 gift inscription within border of prelim).
