Bumped and rubbed with a touch of wear at the corners and spine ends. Gilt to the upper edge of the text block. Spine damp stained with a bit of wrinkling, not affecting the boards or text block. Hinges loose with a bookplate to the front pastedown and light foxing to the end papers.

Cloth soiled, edgeworn, gently bruised to extremities; faint square shadow at spine. Spine square. Front inner hinge starting; rear FEP missing. Binding else intact, and sound through textblock. Faint remnants of ink transfer at FFEP, as though offset from paper previously laid-in. Occasional thumbing/page-turning smudges in margins, and long white markings across page 141 (do not obscure text). Interior else clean, text unmarked.
