Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. 1st Edition. Scarce copy of this author's only novel, Miss Macintosh, My Darling is a "rediscovery" title included in David Madden's classic work about books that were critically acclaimed without the audience recognition (ie, sales) they merited. A huge oeuvre of 1198 pages, this first edition has the Scribner "A" notation on the copyright page, indicating a true first. This Very Good+ condition book is firmly bound with some softening of tips and at the top and bottom of the spine. The $10.95 price is intact on the front flap of the Very Good condition dust jacket.
