This prediction is based on the fact that the production of silver has nearly doubled over the past fourteen years, and that there are indications that this increase will continue. The author concludes by discussing the possibility of India introducing a gold standard, or suspending the coinage of silver for private parties. Either of these measures would be detrimental to the future of silver, the author argues.
