Split at front board and spine with cloth-tape repair to inside hinges. Call letters on spine. Gilding to cover is bright but the spine gilding shows some wear. Lovely Beardley gilt design binding. Top edge gilt other edges untrimmed. Lenox Library bookplate behind front cover. frontispiece tissuepaper has an inch closed tear at bottom. Embossed design of Lenox library on title page. Library pocket on rear board with the remains of a return date slip on rear free endpage. Internally in VERY GOOD condition but with problems to the binding that will need to be repaired.
