The Fourteenth Edition. 8v0, 528pp, fold out map ( in good condition ) half leather binding rubbed and title on spine faded, marbled paper boards tatty, but binding is sound and restorable, contents are in nice clean and tight condition with virtually no foxing , it is a nice copy internally in a bit aged but sound binding. Book.

cxxvi[i] pp, 916 pp, folding frontis map. Near contemporary brown half calf with olive green calf gilt spine labe, marbled boards, bookplate to front paste down endpaper. 18 cm x 13 cm. Wear to spine with loss of leather to the upper section, rubbing and light wear to extremes, random marks to boards, contents age browned with some random foxing.

Zustand: Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. A good condition earlier dated edition in half-leather maroon covers. Very mild fraying to the cover edges. The front fold-out map appears to have been tidily resecured in the preliminaries. General mild toning and dust darkening to the textblock edges but this is on the lighter side for a book of this age, and the main body of text remains clean and nicely bound with minimal fading. A handsome example overall.
