Vintage. UK. 2003. Paperback. A 'special edition' of 'Norwegian Wood' by Haruki Murakami printed exclusively for Ottaker's. . The novel was first published in 1987 in Japan and the English edition by Harvill in 2000. This paperback was exclusively printed for Ottaker's in this '99p' format. The covers bear a little rub to tips and top and bottom of spine. The tips of the pages are gently curled. Light crease to back lower tip. The front cover has a little rubbed out writing. The spine is complete with a gentle crease but is not fully broken and although the book has some shelfwear the unbroken spine indicates it may be unread. The pages are lightly age-toned otherwise clean and unmarked. Edge of text block slightly dusty. 'Norwegian Wood, a novel of lost young love, achieved international acclaim for Haruki Murakami. No hardcover of this book was produced until 2010. Not exlib and packed and sent with care.

Soft cover. Zustand: Good. 1st Edition. First Printing number 1 on copyright page. The Clamshell box is in good condition just some scruff on the front but no bumped corners. The two books looks fine with perfect covers, with no writing , no marks , however the binding is loose in both volumes therefore some of the pages are loose, but nothing is missing. Hence the affordable price of a scarce set.

Zustand: Fine. First English language edition of this scarce study of Wenche Selmer's midcentury residential timber architecture. This first book on Selmer explores her architectural achievements as well as her position as a professional woman in postwar Europe. Though Selmer pursued an independent career, her husband's name appeared "on many of the drawings for which she had sole responsibility" as well as on their collaborative projects, for which he alone initially received the 1969 Timber Award, until Selmer corrected the record and received equal recognition. An illuminating monograph on an important figure in 20th century Norwegian architecture. 11'' x 9.5''. Translated from the Norwegian by Kristin Askgaard. Original pictorial boards. 208 pages. Illustrated throughout in color and black and white.
