The dedication is to the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers. A fold-out chart has the distances of towns and bridges on two rivers between London and Oxford. It also has a chart about high water times at London Bridge. The last pages have 30 b/w figures; a few others are in text. There is an index and an errata page. A 30 page section is titled Miscellaneous Memoranda. It has comments about fishing, dogs and other animals, God, and the Bible.
