Hardcover. 35p., preface, warm and lengthy inscription signed by the poet/publisher on the endpapers, very good limited edition #20/22 copies signed at colophon as well, pebbled cloth boards with paper spine label. Ruyle was born in Concord, CA, went to Mount Diablo HS and UC Berkeley where he was the editor of the humor magazine "The Pelican." He started his own fine press, Pequod, and wrote children's books and Sherlockian pastiches as well as poetry all self-published. He notes to his friend here that he felt this would be his final book as he finished two weeks before going into the hospital. Note: he lived another 24 years!.
