In course thereof the old spine lining was removed the spine cleaned- re-glued with p.v.a. new linen mull, Oxford Hollow back strip and new best match green made end papers fitted. The attractive gilt tooled leather previous owner name and date slip has been replaced to the front paste down. One leaf is a little rubbed and prominent at fore edge but is secure in the binding and we have resisted trimming. Occassional marginal soiling and the odd page corner turned but complete with some contemporary newsprint articles loosely laid in including a wonderful advert for Prof. Norton B.
