Hardcover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. Norma Whiting (illustrator). First Edition. Significant shelf wear and some wear to the top-edge of the boards and head of the spine also. Binding is square and tight, though the hinges show signs of cracking inside the covers and have split between pages 6 and 7. Clean throughout with no writing or marks. Printed on the rear cover, along with copyright information: 2650 Licensed by the National Broadcast Co., Inc. As the author indicates in the Introduction, the eighteen stories about Peter Pig in this book originated in broadcast form for the Sunday Morning Children's Hour at the National Broadcasting Company (WJZ 9:00-10:00). Not paginated, but about 75 pages. Protected in a Mylar cover.

This 1936 children's book is in good condition.This is a hardcover book with lots of adorable illustrations of Peter Pig and his friends. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. The pages are a little yellowed with age and there are a couple tiny chips at page fore-edges. There is a name written on the first end paper. The copyright page shows 1936 as the only date. This is definitely Not a former library book. The covers are clean with some light edgewear and a few creased marks. I have placed a fresh mylar jacket on this old book. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box!.
