Plus [36] plates, steel engravings, maps and plans, some coloured, all with tissue guards. All edges gilt. The New Testament has a separate title page. Light browning to the leaf edges, some of the engravings are water stained and browned in the margin, tissue guards lightly spotted. Publishers black goatskin refurbished (1996), decorated in gilt and blind, sometime rebacked, the spine with five narrow raised bands, the compartments with floral designs in gilt, new light brown title label. New endpapers. Overall, a very good copy. A very heavy book that will incur extra postal charges.
