Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. 1st Edition. 47 unnumbered pages : including color frontispiece, illustrations (some color) ; 21 cm. A wonderful example of the Federal Writer's Project, a program of the Roosevelt Administration at the end of the great depression. This copy nearly fine; a small hole to the top right of the cover and some minor marks to the cover; a fine copy otherwise. The museum still in existence in Rhinelander (Oneida County, Wisconsin).

Soft cover. Zustand: Fine. First Edition. Pictorial wraps. (48pp.). Wonderfully illustrated with orange-ochre colored woodcuts of logging scenes, including one on the front cover. A fine piece of work done under the auspices of the Works Projects Administration. Rare. One authority states, "In 1962, the Museum considered reprinting this booklet, but the original plates could not be located." Very slight soiling, a fine copy.

Illustrated by the Wisconsin Art Project with five ochre wood-cuts, including the frontispiece. Three small tail-pieces also adorn the book. As new. A beautiful copy of this first, and only edition. According to Scharf (#661) an attempt was made to re-issue the book but the original plates could not be found. Fine.
