Bound in deep red textures cloth-covered boards with gilt-stamped lettering front and spine, fore and lower edges untrimmed. Boards a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, cloth has some uneven fading and sunned over spine. Previous owner's name flamboyantly inked on front free endpaper. Some mild toning and spotting on endpapers and tissue guard, occasional minor damage to page edges else internally clean, neat and bright. Firmly bound. A superior but not perfect copy of this beautiful book.  .

Page edges untrimmed. Aside from a small and light blemish to the middle of the spine this is a very near fine, bright copy inside and out. A superior copy of a beautiful book. Becoming increasingly difficult to find in such lovely collectable condition in the publishers cloth.
