Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First Edition. First UK Edition. Publisher's purple boards with lilac lettering to the spine. Text block foxed else VG in a D/W that has some shallow loss to the spine ends loss and and with several, minor, closed tears which have been neatly repaired on the verso with filmoplast. is torn along and in the centre of spine. Looks better than it sounds and distinctly uncommon. At the time of cataloguing there appear to be no copies listed elsewhere and even reading copies are scarce. Ballard! She is, however, better known as the American crime writer, Holly Roth. Great cover artwork by Broon Lynne. Note : this UK first edition is considerably rarer than its US counterpart published by Harcourt Brace in 1959. Photographs/scans available upon request.…
