Sample card for Star Mercerized Article 400 sewing thread, including one hundred eighty-one (181) samples of the color fast mercerized cotton sewing thread still in bright, immaculate condition. Each sample measures approx. 0.25" by 0.5", and is accompanied by a corresponding number code for ordering and a name. The names are rather charming, ranging from "Toboggan" (bright red-orange) to "Blarney Green" (Irish green). "Light Orchid" and "Dove Gray" particularly lovely. Card bifolium measures 9.5" by 4.5" with rounded edges, and an additional smaller sample card stapled to head with green and turquoise. Three holes have been punched at the head of the card for easy display in a shop or retailer. Very good. Minor edge wear and dust soiling. The thread samples themselves are in immaculate condition, with colors still bright and saturated.…
