Spine lightly sunned, offsetting toning to rear endpaper, else very good or better. One of 200 numbered copies. Laid in is an offprint of an article about the manuscript of Terrell's memoirs. Alexander Terrell came to Dallas in 1852 to practice law. He joined the 1st Texas Cavalry as a major. He briefly fled to Mexico, but returned to serve in the Texas House and Senate. He was ambassador to Turkey under Grover Cleveland.
