In the original unclipped dust-jacket (original price 5/-) which has a few very small 'closed' nicks near the top & bottom of spine, and some very light rubbing along top and bottom edges - negligible. Front of the d/j shows a submarine surrounded by an Octopus. The dust-jacket is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks VG. Undated, carries only the 1954 copyright date of the original US Grosset & Dunlap edition - this UK edition is probably a little later? . Slight tan offsetting to the pictorial endpapers, but o/w internally Fine. 192 pp. Illustrated with a full page b/w frontispiece and other b/w illustrations in the text by Graham Kaye.
