Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages dyed blue have the odd small mark/small scratch. In den WarenkorbFirst edition, first printing. Original blue cloth with silver titles the spine and a design in silver to the upper board, in dustwrapper. Top edge blue. Illustrated throughout in black and white by Watkins-Pitchford. A very good copy, the binding with a very small crack to the paper at the front inner hinge nevertheless remains… firm, the upper board ever so slightly bowed, the board edges a touch rubbed. The contents, with faint spotting to the text block edges, are otherwise clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the original nicked and rubbed pictorial dustwrapper which has a few short closed tears to the edges, and has three pieces of tape to the underside. Not price-clipped. Dust wrapper is unclipped but has losses to top of spine and top right of rear panel, rear panel slightly grubby but printed text complete; front panel has small loss to top left but not bad otherwise & retains good colour; now housed in protective cover.
