John Rea Neill (illustrator). This is an undated copy in Format III of the publisher's Wee Books for Wee Folks series, likely 1931-1932 based upon the full page full color endpapers. Three stories; Three Little Pigs, Precocious Piggy and Brave Little Tailor. The book is bound in a red cloth spine over gray boards with Neill plate inlaid on the front cover. Title and illustrations in green surround the plate. the front hinge is torn for 1.5" up from the bottom edge, and the front hinge is cracked at p 17, but the string binding is frim. Corners and spine caps are bumped with fraying. A previous owner has pencilled in the names of two girls on the back paste-down in the"This book belongs to." space. Otherwise, pages are clean, smooth and unmarked. Includes 40 illustrations in colors of red, blue and black and in black and white. 94 pages.
