Hardcover cloth (green) over boards with complete d/j. 4to. 409 pp. Illustrated with 213 b/w and full colour plate photographs. Title stamped in white on the spine. Text block is clean, unmarked, and square with a strong binding. Boards and spine are clean, with slight shelfwear to the edges and lightly bumped corners. The dustjacket (photographic paper) has some rubbing marks on the back, wear along the head, and slightly chipped corners. Overall a bright and charming copy in very good condition.

First edition w/NAP, hardcover, has a slight skew to the binding with a mild pull at the title page, very light bumps to the spine ends and cover corners, and a touch of wear to a few of the page edges. Otherwise, this is a solid, bright and clean, Very Good+ copy in a Near Very Good dust jacket, which has rubbing with a few small smudges to the covers, a very faint area of soiling to the head of the back, slight wear to the edges, light bumps with mild creasing to the spine ends and corners, and sun fading to the spine. The jacket is wrapped in Mylar.
