This wee booklet tells the story of the Earnslaw, a passenger steamer which ferries tourists from Queenstown onto Lake Wakatipu. Part of the Microtone Colour Book Series. Cover has very slight wear to edges and corners with small sticker mark to front. Otherwise, pages and contents are in excellent condition with no inscriptions.

Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. Colour Photographs & Map (illustrator). Name stamped on first page, otherwise without flaw. 5.5 X 8" 24 pages. [Microtone Series] 28 different birds described and with a half page picture of each, including the Brown Kiwi, The Rifleman, Yellowhead and Saddleback.

Told from the point of view of Zinnia and the other animals at Peacock Springs.

Overall a decent copy of this scarce title on the South Island Maori of New Zealand. Size: 8vo.
