In den WarenkorbZustand: Very Good+. No Jacket. First Edition Proof Wraps. This is Robert Flynn's eighth novel and it is a terrific story. This volume is an uncorrected Galley Proof and is bound in wraps(large trade paperback). Proofs are published in very small quantities and their purpose is to allow the author and the publisher to check for…any changes that are needed before the publication of the First edition. The Proof precedes the First edition and is much more scarce. This volume is in at least Very Good condition. There is a small turned corner on the bottom rear outside of the wrap but it has flattened out and is hardly noticeable. There are no creases to the spine and I do not believe that this book has ever been read. The only other thing to mention is the tiniest chip to the upper extremity of the spine but the orange material is still present and a tiny bit of glue would fix the problem. In this wonderful novel the author follows the journalists that are reporting on the Vietnam War. Truth is irrelevant and life doesn't matter if it is not on film. The book is a dark story but the darkness enlights us as to how news came to be 'Managed' during the war. The main character, who is named O'Conner inadvertently becomes a hero when the unit he is with is attacked, he reacts spontaneously but it is caught on film. An unusual but extremely interesting book and a very nice copy.
