Nolan's stationary dated 10/30/84 signed by him. . Alan is flattered about the reader's interest in the 24th Michigan & will be glad to autograph his copy. SECOND ITEM is a 3 page xerox copy of a typed letter (2 pgs mainly) on Ice Miller Donadio & Ryan stationary which is where Alan Nolan works as a lawyer dated 12/4/84. This is a lengthy letter regarding how Alan got interested in this brigade & how he ended up writing his own book, The Iron Brigade which was published in 1961 by Macmillan. Signed.
