This is 'Universal Gazetteer or Geographical Dictionary or sometimes known as Brooke's and Walkers Gazetteer by Longmann' and is founded on the works of Brookes and Walker with numerous maps. It was produced by multiple publishers as listed in 1840. This is a cloth hardcover book in a green shade with titling attached to a paper plate on the spine. This book has no dust jacket and shows significant bumping to corners, edges and spine, plus noted scuffing to all cover aspects including fading to spine. There are noticeable usage and handling marks with the spine displaying dirt marking and a tear to cloth cover at top and centre. The interior has owners label attached to interior cover, yellowing and age spotting to pages and usage marks to handcut page edges.
