Many where born in the 17th century, primarily in England, and came to build new settlements in the Colonies. Family names include Allen, Alden, Estabrook and many more. The Old Pine Cemetery in Lebanon, Plainfield's oldest and largest, and on Leavitt's Hill in Grantham, the project a century ago holds the details of the comings and goings of generations of individuals and families.
