This was no blind flight from famine, but an organized attempt to start an Irish Catholic Colony in Arkansas. This book follows the group's progress from their departure in Ireland to their brief stay in Liverpool and the Atlantic voyage. It shows the other side of the famine emigration experience, what happened to individual families, as well as the group as a whole, when they reached America. 174 pages : illustrations, map, portrait, facsimile ; 24 cm.
