Text in English, Swedish and Finnish. 189 pp. The exhibition catalog is based on the texts written for the exhibition and the photographic materials used in the exhibition. The exhibition materials are based on the designers extensive collections, which are the result of decades of work. The project to digitize Antti Nurmesniemi's archive of drawings was carried out by the Design Museum in 2016-2017, and it was funded by the Finnish Cultural Foundation. The project was overseen by Susanna Aaltonen, and the photography was done by Helinä Kuusela. The Vuokko Nurmesniemi collection at the Design Museum grew significantly in 2007, and it has been an inexhaustible source for the exhibition. The material selected for the exhibition provides a good overview of the diversity and breadth of the designers' output, but represents only a small sample of their design work. Hopefully, this exhibition and catalog will lead to more in-depth study of their work.
