Now very rare hardcover version of this incredible 225pg document of one of the most influential Black Metal groups ever, Mayhem, the Norwegian group who made very important music and have a legend steeped just as much in controversy, following a series of ties to church burnings in Norway and the murder of one of their members. Here is a trove of information including color photographs, black and white illustrations, and all kinds of other narrative pieces which capture the store of this influential but ill fated group. Now very much out of print, especially in hardcover. This copy is generally excellent, though there is a noticeable lean or slant to the binding, which does not effect the quality of the material at all, just the visible appearance and feel from the outside. The binding itself is very sturdy and solid despite the lean. The interior is crisp, clean, nearly as new, appearing unblemished and scarcely read. The covers have the occasional shelfwear but nothing of major note, except some more noticeable rubbing on the back cover and some scuffing around where a former price sticker was removed. Bumped tinnily to the boards at the crown of the spine. Now covered in mylar to prevent any further wear to covers. Excellent copy, very attractive and nearly as new even in spite of the lean.

A collection of 50 color photographs of the sub-culture of "freight hopping hobos." A terrific book that hasn't gotten it's proper due and was never well distributed.
