Erstausgabe
Hardback. Zustand: Fine. First edition. Book published to coincide with an exhibition 3 April 1992 to 24 Julliet 1992 about 'The Intimate Henry Moore' approx 160pp a lavish catalogue , extensive text by Timothee Trimm - lavishly illustrated throughout in b/w and colour. The exhibition recreated the interior of Moore's home and borrowed works of art and pieces of furniture from the Foundation. Moore surrounded himself with objects and so to understand the artist's eye on an intimate level, this exhibition delivered the actual experience that was lived. A fascinating idea, all texts in French which include many archival photographs plus detailed chronology. Among many Moore books this one takes an unusual path.
