It will never come apart again. There are still some anomalies. External cover is complete, but the frt. has various creases. This isn't any major issue - particularly when protected with a jacket - which it will be. Page 1 (foreward page has a little loss to gutter. Text unaffected. Page 3 - some undulation. Page 5 - corner loss. Text unaffected. Page 7 has some of the preceding page attached. Text unaffected. Closed tear repaired with archival tape. Page 9 Closed tear repaired with archival tape. Page 9 - closed tear repaired with AT. Same at top of page with sml. area of loss. On verso (page10) this loss does affect area of text (2cms). Page 13 - sml area of loss to gutter - repaired with AT. The rest of the interior, and especially the important residential listings are all fine. The map at the rear has a few additional creases due to being mis-folded in the past. It probably sounds worse than it is, but I have to declare the faults in detail. As stated previously - includes supply & fitting of new correctly sized protective lyfjacket. **A scarce and perfectly functional (partly repaired & checked) directory for genealogical purposes.
