Binding is weak & strained in many places, pages 231-234 hanging on threads, binding CRACKED though to cords at logarithm/tables section with use with several pages free or loose but all complete, page-edges at this section are chipped/creased/roughened at this section as a result. Heavy foxing to title-pages & end-papers, text generally has some foxing to some pages with some darkening /dustiness/small brown blotches throughout. Page-edges are darkened with foxing and sit unevenly due to strained binding. Appearance is of total wear, needs careful handling. However an old working copy that has probably been used aboard ship for many years, and as such is a piece of maritime history. The only copy of this book on internet at time of input.
