Part I: illustrated with many woodcuts and engravings, including a ha…nd-coloured map, engraved title page, plus a detached title page with pencil notes to binder (outer edges damaged as though not originally bound-in. Part of a letter, signed by the Author pasted to verso of engraved title and ink handwritten notes stating the volume was given to an A. Wodehouse by the Author, and then passed on to William Champion Streatfield in 1882 to blank facing engraved title. Parts II and III also with many woodcuts and engravings including double-page birds-eye view of Norwich. Engraved plate at p.446 detached and appears not to have been bound-in originally. Supplement with occasional woodcut illustrations and ink signature and pencil numbers to ffep. Front inner hinge stretched. All three volumes ex. library with small stock number labels to front pastedowns and to spines (please see photos). Top and outer edges of Supplement slightly browned and damaged (please see photos). Cloth spines uniformly faded with wear to top and bases od spines. Light rubbing to boards and corners. Overall a GOOD SET.
