Shrayer, a translingual author, scholar and translator, is Professor of Russian, English, and Jewish Studies at Boston College. Shrayer's recent books include "A Russian Immigrant: Three Novellas" (in English) and "Antisemitism and the Decline of Russian Village Prose" (in Russian).
