Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. The covers are lightly soiled and there is scattered foxing to a couple of leaves. Promotional for this town in the Santa Cruz Mountains.  It is touted as the perfect location for summer homes and vacations.  The town is accessible by a horse drawn stage line running north from Santa Cruz. Illustrated with 20 pages with 71 vignette photos, almost all are of man made structures.  All are identified in captions and include many summer "cottages" of the well-to-do. The rear cover is a map of the region from San Francisco south to Monterrey.  There is a pea-sized skinned patch out in the Pacific Ocean. Undated, but 1905 is in the past (p.15) and May, 1907 is in the future (p.7). WorldCat (12/24) shows a single holding (Ca-Santa Cruz P.L.) and that may be a later reproduction. Not.in.Rocq.…
