These data are present in so-called datasets, which are nothing more than sets of data containing public information, separate…d into several categories and published in specialized government portals. The data present in these archives can and should cover any public and/or private organization. For the dissemination of this information, several recommendations and some classifications were created; the formats were the evaluation project for this work and the portal chosen was the Brazilian Open Data Portal. Among the recommendations, we used those published by W3C and also classifications of physicist Tim Berners-Lee called 5 stars of open data. The research showed that the portal also presents a lot of data in formats with a low star rating and that they do not reach a good part of the W3C recommendations. Therefore, it is concluded that a lot still needs to be done in publishing the open government data. 64 pp. Englisch.
