Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Near Fine. The First Edition Library's facsimile of Faulkner's novel. This is a brand new copy in shrink wrap, unopened and unread. There is some noticeable fading of the dust jacket spine from sunning, hence I've rated the dust jacket as only near fine, even though it is a sealed copy. The First Edition Library published exact facsimiles of desirable first editions, down to the smallest details- cloth, paper, binding, and first edition points were identical to the original. The information card (points card) supplied by First Edition Library with information about the writing and publishing of the book may or may not be sealed inside, depending on whether this particular copy was sold by the First Edition Library (yes) or by the Easton Press after they acquired FEL (no). Other sealed FEL books from the same collector have had a card inside when opened. Regardless, a color copy of the original points card will be provided.

Hardcover. Zustand: Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fine. A beautiful copy of the First Edition Library's facsimile of Faulkner's novel. This is a brand new book still in shrink wrap. It is married to a sllipcase that is in near fine condition. Only the book is in shrink wrap, not the slipcase. The slipcase has a small defect in the paper lining, either a small crack or manufacturing defect, only visible when looking inside the empty slipcase. There is a small ding at one corner of the slipcase opening. Photos are the best description. First Edition Library Facsimiles had the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. Even mistakes (all first edition points are present) were duplicated. The publisher's slip laid in with a description of the book and its publication and production is probably not present, but a color copy on similar paper will be provided.

Yellow and Black DJ shows wear on corners with heavy wear on spine edges; price of $1.25.

Fine in black cloth covered boards with gilt text on the spine and front board with five, thin red stripes across the spine and both boards and with the top edge of the text block stained red. A small octavo measuring 8" by 5 1/4". In a near fine, facsimile, unclipped dust jacket with the "FEL" logo on the rear flap with a 1/16" closed tear at the upper edge of the front panel. Both the book and its dust jacket are contained within a fine slip case covered with light gray cloth with reproductions of the front and rear panels of the dust jacket on the panels of the slip case. 384 pages of text. This is the First Edition Library's exact (facsimile) reproduction of the first edition of the book to include all the issue points that were present in the original first printing.
