Two viceroys, Curzon and Minto, put in appearances at intervals, but no actual history or current affairs is allowed to obtrude into the narrative. A section of plates to the rear presents photographs of notable elephants, including the Nepalese fighting elephants, Jung Pershad, Bijli Pershad, and one other, unnamed. .
